Running in the middle of the winter? Heck, yeah!

The Freezefest 5k is a “must run” event for Eastern Iowans. Join hundreds of other runners and shake off the cabin fever. The Freezefest is a 5K Run & Walk on the roads within Squaw Creek Park in Marion, IA.  The 2017 Freezefest 5K is on Saturday, February 18th.

There’s a big post-race social immediately following the run at the Prairie Oak Lodge. Stick around for lots of food, music, your favorite beverages, and ton of door prizes. Due to park regulations, the registration is limited to around 350 participants. Sign-up early to reserve your spot at the start line and pick out your race shirt and custom race bib with your name on it.

Corridor Running and the Freezefest donates race proceeds to Boys and Girls Clubs of Cedar Rapids.

Opening in late 2017. (The race is capped due to park regulations and will sell out before race weekend.)

Age division awards for both male and female participants in the following divisions:

Saturday, before the race, from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at the Prairie Oak Lodge in Squaw Creek Park, Marion, IA

Please arrive early as parking is limited and you may have to wait for a shuttle vehicle.
