Corridor Running is a non profit organization seeking an independent contract person to assist us in development of relationships within the community to grow our ability to raise and donate funds to other non profit organizations while improving the quality of race events we operate.
Position Summary
The Director of Development and Community Outreach will focus on the opportunity to grow the running club through economical partnerships and member participation.
We are a running club that raises funds to donate to the community through local races.  Additional responsibilities will include strategic development, unified event organization and community relationships.  This individual will be responsible for obtaining financial and community engagements and will report to the Board of Directors of Corridor Running.
Essential Functions
Cultivate new and sustainable sponsorship
Update, support and fulfill the Corridor Running strategic plan
Promote and execute ideas to grow membership
Provide unified event organization by supporting individual race directors of Corridor Running races
Collaborate with local agencies to recognize organizations that are in need of the support of Corridor Running to fulfill their own mission
Be present and active in group runs/events
Clear communication with the board and members is essential
Build relationships that benefit our members
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
Support general wellness and the importance of a well-balance life
Accurate and transparent budget management
Represent Corridor Running at outside events.
