The Couch to 5K (C25K) program is designed to help beginning runners get off the couch and complete their first race. We know 3.1 miles can sound daunting, and we’re here to help you each step of the way.
For eight weeks, you’ll meet with fellow beginning runners weekly to train and gradually gain confidence with the help of Corridor Running mentors. At the end of the eight-week session, you’ll be ready to safely and effectively run your first 5K at a local race. Register now.
Corridor Running offers a Couch to 5K (C25K) classes in Cedar Rapids each year. The training program is $30 and includes:

Thursdays, from May through June: 5:45pm at NewBo Market, near the front entrance. Run starts at 6pm!
Sundays: 8am at various starting points in the Cedar Rapids area. Join in on the Sunday morning group runs with our No Regrets Running friends! Check them out on Facebook.
Corridor Running will provide a water cooler. We encourage you to bring your own reusable cup or bottle to carry. Group run courses will not be closed to traffic, cyclists, or other trail users. Longer running folks, feel free to join our group for support and camaraderie!
