Meet Ara “Yoda” Ispentchian, a friend and mentor to many in the Corridor Running community, and a heckuva guy. You can find Ara running, lifting weights, and motivating athletes of all abilities as they achieve their goals.

Ara leads the No Regrets Running group via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/NoRegretsRunning/about

Sheryl Becker

Meet Sheryl Becker, trail running enthusiast. In the summer of 2009, she decided to try a sport she thought she hated - running. She saw an ad for the Swamp Fox 5k and decided to train all summer and run it.

Sheryl loved the crowds and people cheering everyone one. This 5k propelled her to sign up for more races. She has now finished 1 ultra (Hawkeye 50k), 5 marathons, 15 half marathons, and numerous shorter races.

Molly Elliott

Meet Molly Elliott, our favorite on-course cheerleader!

After an Achilles tendon injury, she started volunteering instead of sitting on the side lines. Volunteering led to cheering. Cheering led to costumes! Molly dresses up and does crazy things to help out the runners. She says, "If I can get their mind off their nerves or pain, I consider that a win. I love watching people crush their goals!"

Kat Russell

Meet Kat Russell, who started running at age 39.

Kat says, "One day I just woke up - like someone had turned the lights on and realized I needed to make a change. I was sedentary, overweight, depressed and lonely and I realized I couldn’t keep going the way I was going."

Kat started hiking and walking first, then one day tried running - she's been running since. Now she's run dozens of 5ks, a handful of 10ks and 2 half marathons. Follow Kat's running adventures: Insta: @katrussell77, Twitter: @journo_kat
